An Introduction…

‘Yorkshire St Pauli’ was set up towards the end of the 2010/11 campaign, following discussions on the St Pauli UK ( message board. The aim of the group was simple, to provide a meeting point for like-minded individuals who follow St Pauli to meet up, share a beer and watch the games. Whilst we are based primarily in the Yorkshire region, the group is open to everyone, regardless of location, and we hope that we’ll attract a few St. Pauli fans from further afield.

We have a yearly membership fee, which was agreed by members as £5 for the forthcoming season. This cost is to help cover the costs of registering as an official St Pauli fanclub, the cost of registering as an official fanclub with the ‘Fanclubsprecherrat’ is €30 per season. The membership fee also covered our subscription to “St Pauli TV”, which allows the group to stream games in full in superb quality after they have been played. Membership fees are not obligatory, everyone is welcome to watch the games with us, but if you can afford to donate £5 to help with the running costs that would be great. We hope to have some form of merchandise in the coming months, and we will provide a discount to members on the cost of the merchandise. If we do have surplus funds,  after the original running costs, we will look to donate these to the club or the fanladen. More information can be found in the ‘Membership’ section of the blog.
