St. Pauli have agreed to sign Bochum midfielder Marc Rzatkowski on a free transfer in the summer. The 22 year old is given a 3 year contract. Rzatkowski has played 14 games for Bochum this season, scoring 3 goals. He spent last season on loan at Bielefeld.
Rzatkowski: I have not taken this decision lightly. Bochum is my club and Bochum is my home town. I felt comfortable there, but i believe this next step will be good for my personal development. For me, this maturation process will be an extra boost and i am happy to play in the summer for FC St. Pauli.
Vice President Jens Duve: With Marc, we have another young and talented player who comes to the Millerntor. We look forward to working with him for the next three years, and expect him to take the next step with us.
Sporting Director Rachid Azzouzi: We have watched Marc for some time. He is a young player with lots of potential.
