Earlier today the fixtures were announced for the forthcoming 2.Bundesliga season, and St. Pauli were handed a home fixture against Ingolstadt in the first weekend of the season. This is followed by a trip to Aalen before the first round of the DFB Pokal against FSV Optik Rathenow.
The last fixture before the winter break is a home tie against Aalen, and the season commences again on the weekend of 6th February with an away trip to Sandhausen. The final home game of the season is against Bochum, before the season concludes with a final day trip to SV Darmstadt 98. The final two fixtures of the season are already confirmed for 17th and 24th May respectively, with the kick-off time scheduled for 14:30pm UK time, although the kick-off time may change as it did last season.
